SMS Sending

Good Day

I am having a problem with sending SMS , it always gives me an ERROR - "Error executing AT command. ERROR"
Even when i use the Demo Program.
I am using N 6680.

So I try to send sms using ExecuteATCommand.
when i send command for sending AT+CMGS="number" it gives the response ">" , and i will send message
and it gaves me error "Error executing AT command. +CMS ERROR: 301"

note: at the end of my message i add (char)26 for ctrlZ for sending msg for AT Commands
Im using visual studio 2005 C#
i try to diconnect then close my CP remove the battery and sim , then open it again but it still gave me the same result

Another question
1. is it applicable in your Bluetooth Framework to send sms using AT Command at ExecuteATCommand?
2. Does Bluetooth framework accept "Ctrl-Z" or (char)26?
3. Is there anything that i need to setup or steps that i need to do before sending msg?

Good day!

CMS ERROR 301 means that phonebook record does not exists. I.e. when you entering AT+CMGS="number" you say to the phone to find the record in the phonebook with "number".

I'll check why it may crushes with BTF.

3. No. But your phone must support AT commands for SMS sending/receiving. Most Nokia does not.

when i try to send it again but this time i remove double quote(") sign in mobile number : AT+CMGS=number it gaves me new error
i dont know if this is realy an error "System Error.  Code: 10053.
An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine
   at BluetoothFrameworkX.BFGSMModemClientXClass.ExecuteATCommand(String Command, String& Response, Boolean NeedLF)"

1. What does it mean?
2. Why does it aborted my connection?
3. Does AT+CMGS = number is wrong?
4. Do i realy have to save the number to phonebook before sending a message?
5. How can i send msg if the number is not in the phonebook
6. if my phone doesnot support Phonebook reading does it mean i cannot send msg?

I try to save the number to the phonebook but still it gave me "Error executing AT command. +CMS ERROR: 301"

Good day!

It seems your phone doesn't support SMS over AT commands. Unfortunatelly I have no such model for test here now. But you may test it using HyperTerminal.

If my phone doesnt support AT Commands for SMS why is it when i Asend AT+CMGS? it response OK?
Is there any way in which i can send msg using this phone.

I try to use your SensSMS but it gave me error even in your Demo.

Hi,

Im trying to send SMS using different phone now and i can only send sms in  PDU mode
Im checking your demo,
1.can i ask what are diff of se7bit, se8Bit,seUnicode in BFSMSEncodingX does se7bit is also pdu mode for sending sms or not?
1. what is the correspoding pdu mode in your BFSMSEncodingX?
3. if i want to send message in pdu mode how can i send it using you SMSSend , do i need to convert the msg to pdu first or your library can convert it to pdu already?

BTF send message only in PDU mode. Not in text mode.

se7Bit, se8bit and seUnicode is a SMS encoding.

В демо версии при отправке sms возникает такая ошибка. В чем ошибка....при эта ошибка стала возникать только сейчас - раньше ее не было
