Serial Port List

Good Day

Hi

I just want to ask if it is posible to know if what kind/type of device or modem is assigned to what port.
 is that possible?

for example one of my modem is assigned to serial port COM1, my bluetooth is assigned to COM4 and so on..
is it posible to get the list of port and the device/modem assigned

Like

Modem name (COM1)
Communication Port(COM2)
Communication Port(COM3)
Bluetooth Port(COM4)
...

is this posible using BluetoothFramework

Unfortunatelly, currently oyu may just list the ports using BFBluetoothDiscovery.EnumCOMPorts().

does it mean i can only list the port list but not the device assigned to them using BFBluetoothDiscovery.EnumCOMPorts(). , am i right?

Currently yes. For BTF 6 it is implemented completly

I know that this is old topic but i still have hope that i will got answer...

BTF 6 is current version now so how can I detect which com port are assigned to which device?\

I have scenario in which I do device discovery then list their name if I find my target I will pair with that device. My problem is how to detect ports for my newly paired device. Is it possible with BTF 6 ?

Hello,

It is impossible to do. I do recomend to upgrade to the latest WCL version and use native connection with using wclClinet/wclOPPClient.wclFTPClient.
