Title: BlueChatServer not found on Windows 8.1
Post by: walkerbox on August 25, 2015, 01:12:10 PM
Hello,
I'm using your app, BlueChatServer. Sometimes it happens, when I start BlueChatServer on computerA and start the listening, the other devices can not find it, when they are discovering bluetooth devices. I'm trying to discover with different devices (computerB, computerC, phoneD) and different apps (BlueChatClient and already built in Windows/Windows Phone apps) but I get no results.
I noticed, when this happens, computerA would be found by other devices but only when I open default Bluetooth screen for Windows 8.1 (http://prntscr.com/88nko5). So generally, opening listening on BlueChatServer does not make my device available to be discovered by other devices. I am using a Microsoft driver.
Could you please help me with this?

Hello,

Make sure your PC with server is in discoverable mode. You can change the mode using wclBluetoothRadio.Discoverable property or through standard Bluetooth settings dialog.
