Hello Mike, i had been using the 6.5.3 version of the WCL.dll and now i want to use a new version of it for example 6.5.7

I go to references in my project of visual studio 2005 and erase the old wcl reference, i put the new one wcl 6.5.7

and press play, in the develop machine all work fine but when i make a setup and try to use the setup in other comp0uter the program do not load and said system.io.fileloadexception y have all the requesites like C++ and .net.

But if i go to the client machine program folder delete de wcl 6.5.7 version of the dll and put 6.5.3 version all work fine, the program start up and run without errors...

I am not really sure if the problem is more from visual studio or because i was forget something.

Thank you in advance.

Hi

Check your installer and be sure that on your developing PC old WCL was removed.

Hi,

I think it is better to ask on specified forum on check in MSDN. It is WCL support forum, not a common .NET resource.
