platform issue
« on: July 21, 2009, 12:06:09 PM »
i am using WCL demo version. and i am using XP professional. i am trying to get my program to work on Acer aspire 1 which is using xp home edition. if i try to use WCL libraries in my program the program crashes right in the beginning.. is there enything i can do? this might have something to do with the wclAPI.load()function. Also the error got from this is quite odd..

Hi,

It seems you did not redistributed MFC80 redist file. The file is included in the WCL package. You have to copy the file to the target PC and execute it there to install MFC80 redist files.

I mean that you have to execute vcredist_x86.exe on target PC and also you have to have wcl.dll on target pc.
