Title: How to receive files from PC by bluetooth ?
Post by: passpartout007 on June 08, 2011, 04:53:00 PM
Hello everyone,

I'd like to send a file to a tablet PC with a bluetooth connection, I think I've understood how to do that...
But I'd like to create another application for the tablet PC, in VB.NET as well, which would retrieve this file, before Windows.
The application would show the file's content as soon as it's received by the tablet. By now, Windows alerts me that somebody wants to send me a file, but I'd like to have the application do that.

Another little thing : To connect to the tablet (which is under windows 7), it has to be in reception mode, is it possible to do that with the library directly to avoid to do it with Windows ?

I hope my English is not too bad  ::)

Thanks !

Hello,

Yes, it is possible to do. You have to use wclOPPServer on your tabled PC. With wclBluetoothRadio class you can manage your Bluetooth Radio state (connectable/discoverable).
