Title: Problems with Thinkpad Bluetooth 4.0 (Broadcom)
Post by: pleaseking on June 14, 2013, 06:05:53 PM
I keep evaluating the library and made some good progress, however met some issues. I am using a Lenovo T430s laptop and its integrated Bluetooth doesn't really work well with WCL. I need to make SPP connections to medical devices, and I see weird issues like
 - events like OnConnect not firing up
 - discovery fails to get devices names or even gets incomplete names (i.e. 'cre' instead of 'creative')
 - sometimes devices aren't found at all

When I use a Bluetooth dongle (it seems with Microsoft drivers), everything works way better.

Any ideas what to do?

Hello,

We have never faced such problems so I guess it is something with your code. Would be great if you can send me your code to mike@btframework.com so I can run it here to check.
