Title: Hands-Free Profile Demo using iPhone 3GS tells "feature not supported"
Post by: MiniMatrix on December 04, 2013, 05:31:45 PM
Hi,

I am playing a little bit with the demo apps coming with WCL and tried the "Hands-Free Profile Demo" with my iPhone 3GS.
After clicking "Discover" (and activated "Connect to HandsFree" checkbox before) the app finds my iPhone and lists it with its MAC (?) address. But when I try to press the "Connect" button, it tells me "Feature is not supported".

But Apple support tells, that the Hands-Free Profile (HFP 1.6) is supported (all iPhone versions as you can see here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3647).
What could the problem be (I did not install any other Bluetooth driver, just the one by Microsoft is used)?
I am using Windows 7 64 Bit Prof. with Dell Wireless 375 Bluetooth Module and Microsoft Bluetooth stack (Windows device manager entries)

Thx for replies

Hi,

HFP is supported with BlueSoleil Bluetooth drivers only as described here: http://www.btframework.com/compare.htm
