Cannot connect with wclPBAPClient
« on: March 15, 2016, 04:53:59 PM »
Hi Mike,

I have downloaded the last WCL version 6.14.10.0 and I tried the PBAPClientDemo with BlueSoleil 10.0.492.1 and an Iphone 5S and an XPERIA M4 Aqua on Android 5.0.

I was not able to make a connection to PhonebookServerEquipmentServiceClass via the demo application.
But I was able to view contacts with Bluesoleil interface.

Does PBAPClientDemo is already operationnal ? If so, do you think I forgot to activate something?

Thank you for your help.

WCL PBAP supports only PhoneBook Access Profile. So your device must support it.

Hi Mike,

I didn't find why it didn't work for me even if my phone supports PhoneBook Access Profile.
But uninstall Bluesoleil and install it again made everything work... поди знай почeму  :-\

Yes, that happens sometimes. BlueSoleil provides a "mixed" API for third party applications (such as WCL). That "mixed" API uses vCOMs together with native Bluetooth communication. That is why sometimes reinstalling the BS drivers helps to solve the problems. Any way, please, keep me updated if you face the same issue once again. I will try to find a workaround.
