HandsFreeDemo does not work with MS bluetooth drivers?
« on: January 11, 2012, 02:18:40 PM »
I have dowloaded MFC version of WCL and trying to pair my iPhone with PC using HandsFreeDemo.
When i start the program it searches for available devices, then i select my iPhone and press 'Connect', error message is apearing: "Feature is not supported". I test this app with blusoleil drivers and it work fine.
I know that iPhone have very restricted bluetooth stack but hands free must work.
Can anyone help me with this problem?

Hi,

HandsFree Profile currently is supported with BlueSoleil bluetooth drivers only.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your reply.
Is this bluetooth drivers problem or WCL problem?

Only BlueSoleil provides API for Hands Free Profile. No other stack has such API. Even Toshiba delares it but it doesn't work actualy. So for now only BS supports Hands Free with WCL. May be one day it will work with other drivers.
