Authentification problem
« on: January 10, 2013, 06:09:17 PM »
Hello,

I changed my SW depending the requirements of the new driver release.
Now I have the problem with authentification of my remote device (BT Module ARF7678AA, SPP profile, COD=$3F00='limited discovery'). It's not possible to connect.
Sometimes with Error 434 (TimeOut), most with Error 45 (Unknown internal error in low-level driver).

Discovery works without any problems.
The same by using the Authentificator Demo.

My development system : Win7/64 Ultimate on Fujitsu Laptop with internal BT adapter (BCM20702, 6.5.1.2502), Embarcadero RAD Studio XE2

Does anyone have any idea?

Best Regards

What BT driver do you use? and what service do you try to connect to? Authenticator demo uses DUN by default so if your device doesn't have DUN service auth demo will not work.

Hello,

after several endurance tests with known SW and remote devices I found out that the BT HW in my laptop does not work properly.
After changing the BT board of my laptop everything seems to work fine ( - until the next problem  ;-) )

Thanks a lot for your great support!!!

Have a nice weekend!
