No Bluetooth API was found!
« on: June 17, 2013, 07:32:42 PM »
Hi,

Does anyone know if WCL will work with the Cirago BTA7300 bluetooth 3.0 + HS adapter.  I downloaded the demo and trying to run a few of the demo projects but they keep saying "No Bluetooth API was found".

This is on a Windows 7 x64.  There's a built in bluetooth device but I disabled it in device manager.  The only one enabled is the Cirago, which works with the BTExplorer.  But when I run the VirtualPort program or others, it doesn't seem to work?  When I enable the built in bluetooth device it works properly..  So does this mean WCL doesn't support this adapter or does it mean there's more to do to get it to work?

Some more info:  I think the Cirago BTA7300 has the Motorola stack.  Under Device Manager its listed under Bluetooth Device -> CSR Bluetooth Device.

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

WCL supports only BlueSoleil, Mocrosoft, Toshiba and WidComm Bluetooth stacks. Unfortunately I can not say what stack runs on your system as any stack can be used with any Bluetooth chip.
