Getting started with IrDA - No discovery
« on: May 23, 2014, 02:46:31 PM »
I'm testing this library for use with IrDA devices.

The specific device that I have is a StarTech USB2IR3.   I am using Windows 7 32-bit.   The drivers have correctly installed.

I expected that the IrDADiscoveryDemo would discover this device, which is correctly listed in Device Manager, but no luck.

Does anyone have suggestions of what to try?

(Ultimately I am wanting to use this library and the USB/IrDA adapter to communicate with a data gathering device that we are designing)

Thanks

Andrew

Hello,

WCL IrDA Discovery Demo discovers for remote IrDA devices, not local.
