WlanHostedNetworkForceStop

(1/1)

Mike Petrichenko:
Hello,

There was a topic about this function but when I posted the answer the topic has been deleted because of bug in forum.

Unfortunately I could not restore the topic but the answer was like this:

There is no need for support WlanHostedNetworkForceStop or WlanHostedNetworkForceStart but if it is required for the application we can add it without problem.

Hello

Thanks, I've read your initial answer before it went lost :)

We actually don't need WlanHostedNetworkForceStart (since it requires elevated privileges anyway) but WlanHostedNetworkForceStop might be useful in making sure that a "Switch AP Off" button will really switch it off. It is not a _must_ feature but would be nice to have it implemented in the library.

Thank you!
Radu

Mike Petrichenko:
Hello,

Thank you. I agree that this may be useful in some cases so we'll add it into WiFi Framework.
