ProximitySender and multiple stack
« on: May 22, 2008, 07:24:32 AM »
Hi,

After reading a bit more in the forum, some where it says that Widcomm doesn't support multiple dongles, which is the same issue as MS. So, does BlueSoleil support multiple dongles?

If I want to use ProximitySender, is it possible to instantiate multiple proximity sender objects and set their radio to different dongles?

When I look at the API for ProximitySender, it only accept one radio. I thought WCL supports muliple radios. I don't want have multiple dongles tries to send files to the same cellphone. Maybe I misread something.

Thanks

Good day!

Currenty no one BT stack support more than 1 dongle. To use more than one dongle on the same PC you need to install different stack (driver) for each plugged dongle.

WCL support such configuration. You can put few ProximitySender on the form and use it with different radios.

No. It was not, because MassSender supports only MS drivers.
