Yes, that's good workaround for now.

One more thing I forgot to say: as wclauthenticator requires access to the System Registry (to disable pairing popup window) it may require some rights which may not be set for user on your system. So try to run client and server with Administrator rights. Probably it helps (at least we faced such problem when use does not have rights to access System Registry).

Thanks.  I am logging into the devices as local administrator, but I will keep this in mind.

That is the registry entry that toggles the "Alert me when a new Bluetooth device wants to connect" option in the Microsoft Bluetooth Settings dialog?  I was noticing that was changing.
