Sending SMS through PDA

Hi.

I have my PDA (HTC P3300, Windows Mobile6) connected to my PC (WinXP Pro) through USB and ActiveSync.

I'd like to compose and edit SMS messages on the PC and send them through the PDA.

Can I use WCL .NET Lite for that?
If yes, is there a skeleton code to look at as an example?

WCL Lite and WCL Personal does not support such features. May be it will be implemented in WCL Developer but it requires application running on PDA becasue by default WM does not provide any external interface to send SMSes from PC.

One correction

It is possible to send SMS from PC with using WinMobile 5 (may be 6). But only send. No easy way to read. If you are interesting in custom solution - contact me by e-mail.

Thanks, but it is only for my personal use.
I've been looking for some freeware or some tools to do it myself.

I didn't know about the limitations of WM5/6. This being the case, I think I'll put back in operation one of my old mobiles with an integrated modem, connect it with the data cable and use AT commands. I have already done something similar a few years ago for machine monitoring with one GSM modem (A2 Falcom); maybe I still can find something in the old backups.
